
I've tried a few recipes for macaroni and cheese. Nothing will beat my Kraft Dinner. What do you want? I love it! But tonight I tried a recipe that had been suggested. This is the recipe for Macaroni and Cheese of Ricardo Larrivee . Besides being beautiful, he managed to dislodge the forefront KD. It is not nothing, and the recipe is very simple.

1 onion, finely chopped (2 onions) 2 c
. tablespoons margarine 2 tablespoons
tablespoons flour 2 cups milk
hot
2 cups macaroni (pasta of your choice)
½ cup cheese (Cheez Whiz type)
½ cup cheddar cheese grated orange (Medium Cheddar)
½ cup mozzarella cheese, grated (Gouda added)
1 pinch cayenne pepper
1. In a medium saucepan, sauté onion in butter. Add flour and stir 1 minute. Add milk. Stir until the mixture thickens.

2. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente. Drain pasta, add to sauce.
3. Add cheese and cayenne pepper. Stir until cheese is melted.
